Socks (Double Thick) - Original
Double-thickness graduated compression socks: heavier-duty lower-leg support for turnout, travel and harder wear.
Hidez Double Thick Socks deliver the same patented graduated compression as our single-thickness socks, in a more robust double-thickness knit. They are built for situations that ask more of a sock (turnout, long-distance travel and horses that are harder on their legwear), while still managing swelling and filling in the lower limb. Australian-designed and established in 2010, Hidez is veterinary endorsed and used in more than 30 countries.
Why it works
Graduated compression is highest at the lower extremity and decreases up the leg towards the heart. This pressure gradient assists venous and lymphatic return, helping the circulation move fluid and metabolic waste such as lactic acid out of the lower limb, reducing swelling and filling and supporting recovery. In internal thermographic testing, Hidez compression recorded up to 30% less lactic-acid build-up.

Sizing & fit
Sizes run by your horse's height, from 14 hands to 19.2 hands in half-hand steps, and each pair is shaped specifically for either front or hind legs. Select the correct option for the legs you are treating. Because these are compression garments, correct fit means correct pressure: a loose sock cannot deliver the graduated gradient it is designed to apply. Check the Hidez sizing guide before ordering.
What's included
One pair of Hidez Double Thick Compression Socks (front pair or hind pair, as selected) in your chosen colour and size.
Care
Machine wash cold on a delicate cycle with mild detergent. Air dry only, as tumble drying damages the compression fibres.
